The Season Begins for Wreaths Across America 2010 at Cape Fear Composite

At the regular June 28th meeting, a goal was given to each member of the Cape Fear Composite squadron by Major Butrim to get five (5) sponsored wreaths for the 2010 Wreaths Across America ceremony.  The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 11th at 12 noon.  Sponsoring a wreath is easy.  Simply ask family, friends, fellow church members, etc... to go online at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org and sponsor a wreath.  There are no forms to fill out or mail, and there is no money to collect with the online process.  The overall goal is 5000 wreaths so CFCS has a lot of work ahead of them.  Young and old alike can sponsor a wreath.  Businesses and corporations can sponsor wreaths, and families can sponsor.  CFCS will be working together with other organizations in the area to obtain these sponsorships as well as setting up a table at selected retail and grocery stores after Labor Day.  If you work at a store in town with a good amount of traffic, please let Major Butrim know the best person to contact and ask for a day to give out WAA information and ask for sponsorships.
